[Blog] Community Cook-Out
Unfortunately for the neighborhood, the only thing that we have here are chicken leg quarters, vegetables, potatoes, and the will to make it all happen today… and that we will.
On such a spur of the moment and what we have to work with, coming up with something for the people needs to happen quickly.
Community Cook-Out: Preparation
We started off by setting up a few tents, four to be exact, being that we weren’t sure what the weather was going to be like that day. We also set up large tables where we could setup alcoholic beverages for those willing and coolers filled with juices and sodas for those prohibited. It would not be a community cook-out if we didn’t set up the music. Which was the easiest to do of all the preparations. We ran an extension cord from the house to a large karaoke speaker and set up our Bluetooth connection and walaaah. We got ourselves a party.
Community Cook-Out: Menu
On the Menu for this day was what we have in the box. Grilled Garlic Chicken Quarters, Grilled Lemon Pepper wings, and Cheesy Seasoned grilled potatoes packaged in foil.
