featured artist: from artists to xylophone players.
we listen to a lot of music, spoken word, poetry and so forth throughout the course of a month, (it turns out that it’s a lot of material.) whether via emails, out in the world networking, online through the different social sites, or what have you and we compile reviews of these artists, no matter the genre, that we feel can have an impact on the progression of Hip-hop as an art, music and a culture. These featured artist don’t have to be vocal artists. ( poets, musicians, producers, DJ’s etc. ) Either way we bring the artists to you and let you, the people, experience what we have in these artists.
Our choice for sect music featured artist this time around is an epic first for us at sect music entertainment, for this is going to be the first artist to be chosen as featured artist, in the genre of gospel music. Although it is classified or considered to be gospel music, Travis Speaks is enjoyed by music fans of other genres such as hip hop, r&b, soul, and hardcore hip hop listeners as well. Mainly because the concepts of the songs that he uses on his album are songs of over coming trials, tribulations, dealing with pain, and most importantly, A higher power, all topics that we can relate to in one way or another.
Travis first appeared on a hip hop track with the group "Headrush" in 1998 and from then was musically silent until the latter half of the year 2000 where he released his solo ...
[Featured Artist] Ice B is one of the central Florida areas local spoken word talents whose gift of sewing words together like a literary seamstress will have your forearms sore from the obligatory ovations of finger snapping. Her spoken words pieces are touching the hearts, souls, and spirits of the good, the bad, and the ugly all the same. Pouring all that she has to give into her work, has seperated her from those in her genre and one of the reasons why she is our choice for featured artist.

Hip-Hop/RapThis talented, young Apopka, Florida native who goes by the name D-Raw, has certainly earned his spot as the sect music featured artist of the month. In an area where the popularity of "trap music" has pretty much drowned out creativity and lyricism, D-Raw has maintained the roots of Hip-hop and has the potential to bring back the seemingly lost art back to the forefront of this game. His many musical skills can put him in great demand for features on the projects of artists of different styles. His versatility with his rap style will have you questioning who it is? when in fact it's just one of his many styles. His hooks and choruses are written like an artist who grew up in the 90's. definitely an attribute missing from today's rap game.Coming from a Trinidadian background and spending a lot of time in and around family members from ...
artists reviews are very important to how an artist or his/her project is perceived by their listeners. It is more important for the artist themselves to speak or have a say in what being said for or of them. As is it important for the writer to give it to his/her readers as it really is.
To be honest with you, It's been a while since I have been taken aback by an artist before I had a chance to listen to their music. need less to say, that was not the case with Passione Johnson better known by her MC moniker Superstar Pash. From a mile away you can already sense her deeply rooted sense of hip-hop. All from her hip hop terminology, the hip hop demeanor, and the attire to tie it all in, Superstar Pash is definitely about what she does.
"buy my cd from me brother...these females ain't f_ckin' with me, "she says", "I rap, sing, produce my own music, what's up? support a sister".
she continues. I was sold from the jump. After committing to the sale I realized I wasn't carrying any cash, so what does the superstar do? As any entrepreneur would, She whips out her square card reader and ...
